At Montebello Park, St. Catharines, this is the rose garden. Montebello Park was designed by Frederick Law Omsted in 1887. A prodigious creator of parks and gardens, he was working on the Buffalo and Upper New York Park system at the time.

Curiosity and wonder are precious. The visual world gives us a lot of opportunity to experience these. I look for something new to discover and explore in the ordinary.
